Had similar issues with Copaxone. When I told the doctor about it, he agreed that I could not carry on with life as bowl of lumpy oatmeal. We moved on to the Fingolimod drug trial after that.

This post sounds like the very first shot that I took. It was in my thigh which did swell, and the pain lasted for 4 hours. I was terrified that every single shot from that day forward would be equally long and painful. It hasn’t been, but I certainly remember those first shots.
