Mental Illness

November 11th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Dear Tom Cruise,

I know you would be very disappointed in me. I know you are completely against medications to treat mental illness. I know you think they are prescribed too easy but I gave up. My cat has a mental illness. She needed anti-anxiety medication so the vet gave us xanax. We were stupid and gave it to her at 10PM on Saturday night. I know you were probalby upset that we would drug kitty but did you really need to make my 6.5 pound cat walk like a drunken sailor for 8 HOURS STRAIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT?

REALLY? She could not walk a straight line. She could not jump without falling. She could not stop biting us. She mooed like a cow…. for 8 hours straight.

Was that really necessary Tom Cruise?

I don’t think so. (It might have been more amusing if it was during the day…)

Love,

Nina

Oh, poor Kitty!!! I can just picture it in my head. We try so hard to take care of our pets, just like they are our children. You were just trying to help the poor baby!!
