Oh the media…

It was reported today that Multiple Sclerosis can be cured (like bacon!) with the help of a known cancer medication. The problem is, this medications job is to stop your immune system. As you can imagine, this might cause some problems. In fact, one person has died during this trial. I wrote about this a little while ago. Will the risk of death be worth the reward?

Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to see what the blog world has to say. I found these posts most interesting (the first one is from a doctor and pretty interesting):

NHS Blog Doctor: All the glisters is not gold
Colloquy: I have Multiple Sclerosis …
Musa’s Blog: New Drug for MS…dangerous
