I must admit that I am getting tired of the shots. My leg shots are the worst. Last week it took three days for a lump to go away. I am pretty sure I hit the muscle since I could feel pain while walking but not sitting down. I only have these reactions in my legs so I might stop doing leg shots. I need to call the Shared Solutions people.
I just got back from Europe. I had a fabulous time (except for Rome which I didn’t care for too much). I walked about 3-5 miles a day everyday. I fell once down a couple stairs but didn’t hurt myself. It was not the MS but my stupid foot that caused the fall (plus I have big feet and those stairs were small!).
There was a study with Vitamin D and MS released last month. I am behind and had some problems finding a good source. It wasn’t advertised very well. Anyway, it suggests those with MS do well with a high levels of Vitamin D. They are still looking into whether Vitamin D protects against relapses but the research was hopeful. I printed out the study to take to my doctor next week. I will have my blood tests done very soon..

I’m glad you had a great trip. Good luck with the vitamin D test. Mine was A-ok.

I have a friend that has MS and lived under giant fir and cedar trees. Her muscles locked up all the time. Then she moved to Auburn and lived in a house in a field. Lots of her MS symptoms went away. Must have been the sunshine and Vit. D that did it. It was a complete turn-around for her. She lives in Montana, now, and I don’t here from her so don’t know how she is now.
