Fancy Hotel!

July 29th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Tonight was the fancy hotel night. I must say I was disappointed in the food but the view was nice on the 4th floor overlooking Elliott Bay. It would have been great if it wasn’t raining… None the less. We had a good time. It was highly educational. The [...]

I dig my Neurologist!

July 21st, 2008 · 1 Comment

I had my follow up appointment with the Neurologist today. He went over the the labs which were normal. He also went over the MRI and just said there were 3-4 lesions on the spine. We went over meds and all that stuff. Pretty boring appointment which is the best kind [...]

Big expensive hotel here I come!

July 20th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I got a letter in the mail from Copaxone advertising a MS program at the Edgewater Hotel on the water front in Seattle. It’s a pretty snazzy hotel and they are paying for parking. Call me shocked. Do I need to bring my “I have MS” badge so I get the free [...]

Seattle police are bored!

July 19th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I guess there isn’t enough crime in Seattle for our police force. I know I hate a boring day on the job as much as the next but I think this is a bit extreme: Seattle police seize marijuana patient files

Now granted, she is a midwife so it is more focused on childbirth but still has some excellent information on it. I have told many of a breastfeeding mothers that they should be getting their infants Vitamin [...]

I miss my balance the most.

July 13th, 2008 · 6 Comments

I can’t say it was MS that took away my balance but I have a strong suspension that the 1.5cm lesion is my balance. I would like that back please. Tom and I went on a hike this weekend to Twin Falls in the Cascade’s of Washington State. It was very pretty [...]

Ah.. Home sweet home

July 10th, 2008 · 4 Comments

We had a fun trip to Montreal and Boston. I haven’t been to either city so even a short trip was fun. The drive to Boston brought me through two states I hadn’t been to and I must say Vermont is pretty. Lots of green trees… and some “mountain” like objects. [...]

Spinal MRI reports are harder to read

July 1st, 2008 · 8 Comments

I received my spinal MRI report and it is a lot harder to read than the brain MRI. It looks like two doctors looked at the report but didn’t quite agree on the results. One report says there are three lesions and the other says four. I don’t think it matters too [...]
